About Me

My photo
I created this blog to keep everyone updated about how things are going with my GAP year. I left the US on August 26th and returned May 4th. During GAP year I was taking classes in Spanish, theology, evangelism, and missions. I was working in a ministry called Metro, went to a Spanish church called Principe de Paz, and an English church called GGP. In the GAP year program I had the opportunity to be part of a weekly discipleship/small groups with the leaders in Costa Rica. God did great and mighty things in my life!! I am learned so much and I am falling more in love with Jesus, His word, and His people everyday! I would love it if you would continue to pray for me. Thanks for all of your support!

Things to pray about...

That I would raise all the money I need to go to Costa Rica
That I would be prepared physically, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally for this trip
That I would be quick to learn Spanish
That everyone in GAP would be safe
That I would do well in all of my classes
That during my time in Costa Rica I would draw closer to my peers, teachers, and most importantly to God
That everyone going to GAP would raise all the money they need to go
That everyone would stay healthy
That I wouldn't have any pain in my back over this trip
That everyone would be able to adjust to the weather
That through my experience in Costa Rica I will know what God wants me to do with my life
That I would be able to use the things I learn in GAP in other areas of my life
That I would build long-lasting relationships while in Costa Rica
For my family not to miss me too much ;)
God would prepare the people that we will be ministering to and with
That I would have everything I need to go on this trip
That there wouldn't be any problems with flights to or from Costa Rica
That everyone in GAP would work together
For each of us to learn how to be servants for Christ
For this experience to help me use my gifts and talents in ministry
